Any total education, they say, must address the three domains of human development. That is the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains. At TAIDOB College, the provision of total education, which over the years has placed our students over and above their counterparts from other institutions of learning, remains a non-negotiable philosophy.

WASSCE RESULT: At TAIDOB College, over 98% of the students produced in the last twenty years have performed outstandingly with distinctions in the various subjects entered for. For instance, ORIDATE Ademola, an ex-student of the College had the best WASSCE result in the whole of Ogun State.

UTME: It is an interesting thing to note that the students produced at TAIDOB College, every year have consistently done themselves and the school proud with the array of strong grades recorded in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Here at TAIDOB, we are made bold to say, without being immodest, that over 97% of the students produced in any given year transit, without hitches, to higher institutions of learning, (both within the shores of Nigeria and abroad), almost immediately after their Secondary education.

Currently, Taidob College has shown to the Nation and the entire world that the School leads while other follow by producing a student who scored 349 in the just concluded 2018 UTME conducted by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB).

It will not be out of place to note that the phenomenon of moral decadence, especially among Secondary School’s aged adolescent is quite burdensome. In spite of this social menace, TAIDOB College has continued to produce students who in the various walks of life are worthy ambassadors of the country (in knowledge and character). This is owing to the fact that the School’s vision is not just to make money but to produce the next generation of all-round cultured adults.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR EXAMINATION MALPRACTICE: TAIDOB College is Second to none in Ogun State and Nigeria in the area of curbing examination malpractices. This is evident in the examination arrangement and conduct strategy adopted by the College Management (a situation where no two students from the same class or at the same level will sit next to, or beside each other). Any student caught indulging in any act of examination malpractices is automatically made to repeat the class, at the end of the session, even if such a student has done brilliantly well. The school pledge which every student of the college recites everyday is such that forbids them from indulging in any form of examination malpractices.

PROVISION OF COUNSELLING SERVICES: As part of measures at producing students with sound academic and moral background, the College offers guidance and counselling services, through a crop of highly skilled and dedicated experts. The counsellors in conjunction with significant others give group and individual counselling to students to ensure that students are well adjusted and live up to set standards.

DECLARATION OF CERTAIN ITEMS AND WARES AS CONTRABANDS: The College Management, in its bid to maintain a high level of discipline among students, has a list of items declared as contrabands. As a result of this, students must not be found in possession of such items. These items range from rechargeable items like electronic games, mobile phones and a host of other items which have been found to be sources of distraction and immorality among students.

REINFORCEMENTS AND PUNISHMENT: The School uses the principle of reinforcement and punishment judiciously. Students who are morally and academically upright are encouraged while those found wanting in one area or the other are punished accordingly.

UTME ACCREDITATION: It is no doubt that the level of discipline in terms of principles and practice coupled with the serene environment that support learning made the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) brought one of its paper pencil Examination centers to TAIDOB College in 2011.

EFFECTIVE FEEDBACK MECHANISM: The School has put in place, as part of its efforts at ensuring good administration of the School, an effective communication mechanism which affords students and staff alike the opportunity to bring to the knowledge of the management suggestions, recommendations or useful information on what can be done to further strengthen the strong moral and academic foundation upon which the School is built and move the College to a more enviable height.
